Raewyn Whiteman Thorne
Raewyn is a farmer’s daughter from the north who journeyed away to a career in teaching… children with disabilities at Levin, male prisoners in Turangi and then Resource Teacher Guidance and RTLB in Tokoroa. During that time she also ran family homes and completed her counseling degree. She now works as ASPEL Coordinator at Tokoroa North school working with children, their families and staff. Raewyn completed by Glasser Basic Training with Maggie and a wonderful group of mainly RTG’s in the late 1990s and has recently completed a practicum. With her “fairly new” husband Mike Raewyn runs a B&B/wedding/videography business in Putaruru. Their shared family is scattered through Australia and New Zealand. Raewyn enjoys people, coffee, travel, music and I love our grounds, not always sure about the gardening. Life is busy but Choice Theory is part of her life and the Reality Therapy questions roll off her tongue.
